A unique function room dating back 500 years, The Vault can seat up to 60 guests for a sit-down meal or up to 100 guests for a reception. Room hire is £200 for up to 6 hours, food must be included (See our functions page for menus). You are prohibited from bringing your own food onto the premises (Other than a Celebration Cake) for health and safety reasons. You can arrange your own disco or live singer/band as part of the function if required.

There have been many functions over the years including the Sole Cellar for Alresford Music Festival, Meetings, Conferences, Engagements, Weddings, Birthdays (over 21st birthday only), Baby Showers and Christenings. We can provide a screen and flip chart if required. There is a separate bar (Open for functions over 50 guests). You can also hire our Vintage Jukebox for £150.00 which has a selection of CDs, it also has an auxiliary cable which you can attach to a mobile phone or MP3 player.
